Humidity is the main thing to plan for with floors in Southwest Florida. Wood naturally moves as moisture changes, so it needs to acclimate and be installed with room for that movement. Engineered hardwood is often more stable than solid wood in a humid climate.

Refinish or replace?
If your hardwood is structurally sound and mostly shows surface wear, discoloration or a dated stain, refinishing can transform it. If boards are damaged, loose or affected by water, replacement may be the better investment. We look at the floor in person and give you an honest recommendation.

How much does flooring installation cost?
We do not publish prices because every project is different. Size, materials, layout and the condition of the existing surface all change the scope. We visit, measure and give you a free written estimate. Sending photos with your request helps us prepare faster.
Which floor is best for a Florida home?
It depends on the room and how you use it. LVP is practical and water-resistant, porcelain tile handles moisture and heat very well, and engineered hardwood offers the warmth of wood with more stability in humidity than solid wood. We help you compare during the estimate.
Do you refinish hardwood floors?
Yes. Refinishing is a good option when the wood is sound and the problem is wear, discoloration or a dated color. If the boards are damaged, we will tell you whether replacement makes more sense.
Can you remove my old floor?
Yes. Old floor removal can be included in the same estimate, so removal and installation are handled as one project.
Do you install carpet?
Yes. We install carpet, most often in bedrooms and quieter rooms, alongside hardwood and LVP in the rest of the home.
